Comprehensive Evaluations Available for Women Experiencing Difficulties in Becoming Pregnant

About 35-40% of women with endometriosis will experience some varying degree of reproductive challenges.  The Endometriosis Treatment Center of America (ETCA) offers expert diagnosis and treatment to improve fertility and help women become pregnant.

There are two main ways in which endometriosis can impact a woman’s fertility.  Some women may have lesions and scar tissue that can block the fallopian tubes which will make it difficult for the egg to make its way to the uterus.  In addition, endometrial lesions in the ovary may prevent ovulation from occurring.

“It is important to understand that having endometriosis does NOT mean that you will never have children. With appropriate treatment plans customized to your specific symptoms and anatomical structure, achieving pregnancy with endometriosis becomes a possibility!”, says Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, MD, FACOG, President of the Endometriosis Treatment Center of America.

The most effective and reliable method in diagnosing endometriosis is through laparoscopy and pathological biopsy. Based on the stage and location of endometriosis, various treatment options are available to help you become pregnant including anti-inflammatory medication, hormonal medication, and minimally invasive excision of endometriosis.

The first office for The Endometriosis Treatment Center of America (ETCA) is now opened in Lake Orion, Michigan at 1430 S Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion, MI 48362. In the coming months, ETCA will open offices in Birmingham and Madison Heights, with plans to begin expanding further throughout the state by December.
